Hi, I’ve been doing very good here.
This Tiruvannamalai is a fascinating place not only for me but for many people.
I’ve met those who changed their travel plans to stay here longer or come back here every year for 3 to 5 months-stay each year.
Nathalie who stays in the same guest house is one of them. We’ll do Girivalam (14km walk) on Sunday before her leaving.
Yuuki, a Japanese boy, the same age as Remy, is trying to find the way to live in Tiruvannamalai.
Bala, our guest house owner offered a plan which is if Yuuki put 5000 euros for building 3 huts in this garden, Yuuki can earning by renting 2 huts and use 1 hut for him. He is now considering it.
I asked about payment for a construction worker thinking as Remy’s job opportunity, it’s only 700 Rs ( less than 10€)/ day. ? so forget about it.

So I’m not the exception who are caught up by this strong energy of holy Arunachala mountain, and my desire to go to Auroville has been disappearing little by little. Especially many who stayed Auroville said although it was nice, their heart longed for coming back here.
So finally today, sent a mail for cancellation to Auroville.
In addition, even though I didn’t look for accommodation here for March, I’ve found one in the center that is cheaper than here 330 Rs (4€)/day with kitchen.
The owner promised me to teach cooking.
Here is nice & quiet but it became too exhausting to cycle 40 miles every day and didn’t have time to learn cooking.
That’s the latest news from Tiru.
